I will produce a detailed report for your draft consisting of annotated notes and a written feedback summary. I’ll ask you a few structured questions to make sure I am focusing on areas you most need feedback for. Feedback will focus on three key areas:
Theatricality – how well does the script make use of the potentials of the form?
Originality – are the ideas expressed in a distinct authorial voice? are there hidden tropes and clichés you could express more originally?
Legibility – is the dramaturgy accessible for the audience and pitched at the right level?
The fee applies for a play of maximum 40 pages in type size 11/12pt. If your script is longer than 40 pages, you can provide an excerpt or contact me for a bespoke fee. (If it’s 41, I’m not going to quibble.)
